Quarry Creeper
Not exactly an r/c or 1:1 but its one of my old toys I recently found in my grandmothers back yard. I guess as a kid I left it there and the earth along with mother nature was swallowing it up and giving it some natural care. lol!
I wasnt able to get pics of it when I first pulled it from the yard & its pretty much the only thing left of it. I cant find much more so the fun of recreating what isnt there should turn out to be a cool project.
I think it was a Goody toy. Not sure what scale it is but it measures out 2 & 3/4 wide x 5 1/4 long with a wb of 3 1/2". Thanks to not having a ground full of snow yet, I was able to find a hard plastic wheel that matches up with the wheel well. I think it is from the jeep but not 100% sure.
I soaked the rust filled body in some vinegar for a few days and this is how she pull out. I had to do some brazing to the side of the tub on the left as it was just rotted. I also need to fill in some holes thru out the body. Typical jeep for ya. lmao!
Ive been trying to find pics of it online but have come up empty so far. If anyone remembers this it would be great to hear from ya or share a photo. I was really surprised to find this and I vaguely remember it but cant recall the color even tho I want to say silver with a tan or black interior.
