Jeep j10 Honcho " Twister " now with Dorothy

This really is a great build. Unexpected and well executed.

Thank you sir, its been a long time in the making, I am happy to finally having it wrap up.

Super nice build! Love all of the detail.

After reading this awesome thread I realized where I have seen your build before. I have been subscribed to your YouTube channel for awhile now and never put 2 and 2 together.

Thanks for sharing and I enjoy your videos. You have an amazing R/C collection also.

Really appreciate the support on the channel and I'm glad you you enjoy the content. I enjoy doing it and wish I had even more time to be in front the camera, I like to ramble about toy trucks.

Helen Hunt in that white shirt and cold temps makes you want to "twister" something else. :lmao: But now she's old school...as in granny.

The truck is exceptional. Wish I was going to USTE so I could see it in person.

Appreciate it sir, I highly recommend trying to make the event one year, its a great atmosphere...no assholes ;-):ror:

Coming home with some hardware again would be great but with the talent of last year I’m sure it’s gonna be tough to compete.

Saw you won some pretty impressive USTE hardware this weekend. "thumbsup"

I'd buy you a congratulatory beer in NC as you make your way back up 95 but you're probably going to be past here by the time you read this.

All the dollhouse in this one. Perfect!

Doll house all things!

I did indeed! I won best of show and best scale accessory, couldn't be happier

So the Ultimate Scale Truck Expo did not disappoint this year, the trails were even more epic, really cool bridges and even a zip line! I entered the Twister truck and the Show and Shine event as I looked through the 250+ plus trucks I really didnt think I was gonna have a snow balls chance in hell. The level of trucks built for the event was amazing, much detail, such doll house, cool truck, neat scalerz and all that. I was blown away when the Twister truck netted Best Scale Accessory for the Dorothy unit but I was even more stoked to find out it was awarded Best of Show. The project would have never been possible without the help of Rich/n00b and even though I've thanked him a dozen times now I'm gonna thank him again! THANKS!

While all the prep was going on for USTE I was also working with RC Car Action magazine as well, one of their editors some time back asked if I was working on anything cool and when I showed him pics of the Twister he told me how much theyd love to feature the truck when it was done. A few weeks before USTE, I had gotten email that they were in need of content and asked if it was done yet, needless to say I dropped everything and cranked out the finals details for the truck and then did a photo shoot of it as well. The end result, pretty damn awesome! heres a peak, its in the May 2019 issue if you wanna grab a copy

amazing build, I'm blown away at the attention to detail and accuracy some of you guys can achieve. What an exercise in patience I could never do :lmao:

Thanks man, still a few details left that I want to add but its pretty damn near how I envisioned it

Took ya 8 years, but it turned out great! Attention to detail is phenomenal! "thumbsup""thumbsup"

:ror: About that... My issue has always been if I work solely on just one truck I tend to burn out. Better later then never haha

Awesome project and I agree with the final thoughts in the article. I remember watching the beginning of the movie again because of that truck.

Now who is going to build Billy Bob`s truck from the movie Varsity Blues?

That thing is just amazing! Really great work! I wish I had the time to be half that good!

Fantastic build. I read the article a couple times. I didn't realize that it was yours until I just stumbled on this thread!
