I was looking for a project to do on the side while I was waiting to get my other two rigs back from california. I was originally going to do an F150 but well, I love this damn truck so here we go!

I picked up one of the Chinese JKs and got started

And this is where night #1 got me - I got the fenders worked out and I feel like I have the proportions right so I will start on the front tonight

Wow. Nice way to start off with that truck. I have the same project in the works using the NewBright JK. Curious to see how you manage that front end.

I've been wondering when someone was gonna build this,it's too cool of a truck not to get built.i just don't have the skills some of you guys do"thumbsup"

Wow ........ you did WHAAAAAAT to that jeep body . Nice work already .

If it makes you feel any better I had a hard time chopping it up! Lol, thanks man!

If your 79 ford is any indication I'm sure it will put my attempt to shame! Thanks for the kind words!

Right? The 1:1 is amazing!!!! Don't get your hopes too high though....I'm not a fan of the color or the wheels on the original...I may go my own way there. Anyhow, I firmly believe it has far more to do with patience than skill!
