Looks great.

Pretty impressive build you got going on.

Thanks guys."thumbsup"

With that level of detail on the tailgate of the rig, I doubt you'll have many issues with the front end coming out wrong. Looks amazing!!!

Thanks, but the tailgate was just chopped from the donor JK with longer sides grafted onto it. The front will be completely scratch built. The grille is the part that I worry about the most.

Done yet? lol. Im excited to see this done. With the sawback i have im gonna build an oldschool one.

Wow man, looking great. Looking forward to running with it if im ever in the area again.

Thanks man. The project is on hold right now because my workshop is in the back part of the basement, and it is unheated. Too cold to be spending more then a couple of minutes back there. Will pick it back up when spring comes. The bed is finished and most of the cab is done, just some finishing left. Then paint.

That's a heavily chopped RC model EX jeep body.

One of the coolest concept rigs ever built in the 1:1 world.

Yep, it's the same body that they are selling. I got it from China for $99 shipped. I can't believe they want $140 + shipping.

When I saw the 1:1 for the first time I was looking for ideas on something unique to build, and I knew I needed one. After studying the body for a bit, I thought about chopping up a JK to make one. Then I read about it and found out that is exactly what they did to make the 1:1. I knew I had to do it at that point.
