Quarry Creeper
Jeep WK "Grand Cherokee" SCX10. RC Scaler/Rock Crawler.
Video build and scale 4x4 shop scenes.
I have been wanting to do a Grand Cherokee build for a while now but there really isn't anyone making this body style.
I kept searching on the internet and then one day while on Ebay I saw an RC toy with a Grand Cherokee body that looked like it might just work.
After it arrived in the mail and I got the body off the chassis, I noticed it It even had Tungsten filament headlights, all I needed to add was taillights.
I used an Axial SCX10 frame and transmission, RC4WD T-Rex 44 axles, tires, and wheels, a Tekin FX-R speed controller and 35T motor.
The frame is shortened at both the front and rear.
There are quite a few scale "hex bolts" used on this rig as I'm integrating more and more of them into my builds.
I also finally worked out a Velcro system to attach the body, no more body posts mucking up my scale builds.
I've been slowly getting a "4x4 Garage" diorama together for shooting build scenes and you can see it in this video.
I will get this truck out for some trail runs video soon and have many other builds in the works so make sure to subscribe!
