Jim Carrey "Cold dead hand" skit...

Another eample of people looking way too much into a skit meant merely for entertainment. Im guessing anyone who got their panties tangled over this also was pissed at Will Ferrell for doing Talladega Nights.

Ive loved Carrey since his inception for his acting persona, I think hes amazing. As with any actor I could care less their personal thoughts as I dont look to them for guidance but mere amusement.


Nevertheless this will give the sheep something to talk about for while. And FWIW, Heston has had for a while coincidently what appears to be a "cold dead hand" (or hands) from what I can only assume is some form of arthritis. Ha ha... :roll:
 
I've seen funnier from Jim Carrey. This was kinda dry. But then again, I've never been a huge fan of his.
 
At first I had seen it as satire, like SNL or In Living Color, but even looking at it that way it sucked.. compared to some of his past stuff....

Gotta agree completely with the second paragraph. I could care less what actors do(as long as they aren't harming people) in their personal lives. I look to them to make me laugh, provide good/great action scenes and what have you.

Take Mr. Charlie Sheen. My mom thinks he a scumbag, which he may be. But I could give two shits what he does while he's at home or on the road. While, I haven't seen him lately, as an actor, I like him just fine.

While it is pretty stupid for any actor to say negative things about guns all the while they have or do use them in their movies.
 
This is why Carrey has flopped in the last several Movies he has done. That was the Dumbest thing I have watched in quite a while. Pathetic at best ! Oh wait, maybe he is desperate for attention.
 
Just like the rest of the citizens of this country, actors have the right to speak their mind....even publicly if they so choose.

Also, we have the right to not listen to them....or even not buy their product.
