Looks like you're building a winner for sure! "thumbsup"
The only thing I can think of off hand that you might want to get is the battery/electronics tray from JP:
http://www.jpcustomrcs.com/catalog/item/5195345/8353348.htm
I designed it for my HaVoc chassis I ran last year, and modified it a bit to its current design for use in my Hellstrom Pro. It puts the battery low and forward without binding on the links. Anxious to see your rig come together, you're gonna love it!

Damn, you're building almost the same rig as me!!! Mine's en-route as well. Good luck with your build!"thumbsup"

Pretty damn big battery you're going to fit there:shock:. My friend Kenne even had fitment problems with his 1300mAh 4S in HaVoc.. But that's a good thing, he can always loan them for me:lmao:.

ya im a little concerned about the battery placement. kinda jumped the gun on ordering it... im sure ill get creative, kinda hoping it might fit on the upper links in the front or I might make a hanging mount for the links. But that's all speculation at this point ... 109 x 36.5 x 35 mm are the dimensions and 246g for the weight..

If not Ill keep looking for another 4s pack and run my 3s 1300's

Hope it gets here soon so I can get wrenching

I ran a 1500 3 cell on my battery plate in my HaVoc. Waaay too big for comping, but it's what I had and it fit (barely).

hmmm sounds like i'm in trouble with the big pack...lol, my other crawler is an LCC and she sucks the juice, i'm not used to something that has some mileage

Edit: here is the pack, she is gigantic! think ill see if i can return and look for something else.. lol

 DAMN

The only way this could look any better is if it was inside a big brown box heading north eh..

Awesome, thank you sir.

Well it's all coming together nicely. Decided to stick with the current HaVoc flavor out there and do a torsion rear. A few suspension changes trying to get the stance out of the roller I want. Tried the 70mm shocks that came with the kit but they seem too short and too stiff. Had a set of New Era shocks for a rustler but they are quite heavy and pretty wide. So I took a trip to the LHS and found some axial scaler 90mm shocks that will give me a nice range of motion and they only weight .5oz full of fluid.

Going to mount the ESC and Punk down on the skid bottom. Got some of it soldered up but I'm still waiting for some braided cable sleeving so the rest of the wiring is on hold for now.

Pulled out all the fasteners on the axles and applied blue Loctite, Gave the gears a liberal coating of some Losi great grease. Then I cut the notch into the front tube for the servo. Installed the v6 XVDs and got a new 7950TH for it ( still in the mail )

I cut the slant into the skid and rounded all the lower links and skid with a flapper wheel in the dremel. Also rounded the skid edges. Made a lexan tray for the 3s 1300mHa battery which fits nicely.

My 45T Br00ds are still in the mail so she'll be a roller for a little while longer. Chassis looks great, cant wait to drive!

Looks awesome! I like that you rounded the edges and ends on the lower links. Anxious to see how you like it on the rocks, bettin' you're gonna love it!
