JP's HPi stable

Finally found a graphite chassis for the rally, although I might just leave it in the package, can't bring myself to open it and use it quite yet.
The only other option I'd like to find for it is a one-way, but those seem to be even rarer than this chassis. The hunt continues!

Oh nice! That is a sweet score. Where did you pick that up?

I probably have a one way in my parts drawer. It looked brand new for the most part. I'll snap a picture for you if you want.

Believe it or not I found it on ebay, some guy had it listed as a "buy it now" for $25, I couldn't pass it up. Most of the ones I usually see on ebay they have listed for $75 plus. I got lucky, right place at the right time.

Is it a front one-way, or a center pulley one-way? If you're looking to get rid of it I'd probably be interested in buying it off of you. Post up the pic and we'll talk.

Damn that was a good deal. Nice snag there!

I have both but I'm assuming youre looking for the front diff one way? I'll grab a picture tonight. It looks unused but whoever glued the pulley guid to the pulley messed it up so that looks funky. I do have a new pulley for it though.

I mean, I'd like both if you're willing to part with them, lol.

Center one-way, front one-way, and new front pulley. If you want to shoot me a price including shipping, I'm sure we can work something out.

I got a picture and I also found a front spool.

The one way pulley just needs to be cleaned and reglued. I do have a new pulley for it if you want to though. The cups on it look new.

Nice collection you got there. I didn't realize they ever made a spool for that car. Or is it a modified version from another car?
I did find that I already have a center one-way hanging on my parts wall too.

I was feeling a little "scale" today, so I figured the rally was lacking a little detail.

First I had to mount a fan, the over tray is causing this thing to run hot. I had the fan pointing at the motor endbell but it really wasn't helping. I was able to grind enough away to slide it between the chassis and upper deck right in front of the motor can, we'll see if this helps.

Found some HPI mirrors I had laying around and threw those on.

Next up was the plain white wheels. A long time ago I made some OZ logos and printed them out on regular sticker paper. They looked good, but any moisture and the ink would just wipe off. I decide to give them another shot, except this time I painted clear nail polish over the stickers, a quick test with a wet paper towel and it appeared to work.

I decided to take the wheel detail a bit further and paint all the vents as well, first one turned out ok but they got progressively better each wheel. Overall I'm happy with them, it makes them stand out.

Final results of the day. I might get some red or blue wheel nuts, the giant black blob in the center of the wheel bugs me.

That rally is looking great JP!

To answer your question from earlier, I'm not sure what the part number is on the spool. It may be for re pro4 or pro2... I don't quite remember. But it does fit the RS4 chassis.
