Im just woundering if anyone has had any sucsess with this trans im running one for a forward mounted motor mount on a custom build and i realy like the look of the duel motor set up the trans uses and the rig is extremely heavy so theres no way 1 540 could handle it so has anyone solved the output gear issue is there a metal gear for it or any other fixes i was thinking of making 2 plates to sandwich the gear and add some bolts and jb weld to hold it all together i would get the upgrade set but i cant find it for less than a scx10 trans and i am very familure with that style trans but i would rather stick to the jugg trans if i can bullet proof it for around $40

Your best bet is to find an upgrade kit on eBay and that should fix the problem your having. The jugg 1 trans wasn’t a good one from the start. I found them from a guy in the U.K. for $45-50 shipped to my door.

Thanks. The washers seem to be holding up with out issue theres so much torque that it will snap axle shafts with a blip of the throtle and the trans is still holding up very well i dident realy like tamiyas fix besides i couldent find the new.shaft and gear for a reaeonable price if it fails again ill build a.hex in to the next coller and lock the collers together with a few bolts if that fails il pick up a differant brand trans or make my own unit
