After a long hiatus i have recently come full circle back into the RC crawler world. Having drug out my tlt axled rig and dusted it off i have reinvigorated my interest in the sport. I have been lusting over the 6x6's recently and have decided to scavenge from my comp crawler and convert it to a 6x6. The plan is to get the K2-6 chassis and then transfer my front and rear axles, suspension and electronics over to the new chassis and fill in the bits where needed. for a body i really like how Bender lengthened the back half of the honcho so i think i'll try that for the rear at least. Front, i'm thinking maybe a hilux or f350 hard body. However i have a few questions before i begin. I'll start with a materials list and then ask for advice. I appreciate any advice that is given and once i get started i will update with pictures.

Parts i have:
2 x TLT-1 Axles, locked
4 x Losi shocks (dont know the model)
1 x RC4wd R2 Trans
all the electronics and such
misc links and other bits

Parts i know i need:
1 x K2-6 Chassis
1 x TLT axle
1 x alxe parts "D" to convert to powerthrough
1 x output shaft for axle conversion
2 x Losi shacks
4 x Aluminum steering lockouts
2 x Moab tires
2 x Wheels
All the links to locate axles
Driveshafts

Now on to my questions.

1. I have no clue what length links i need to locate the axles properly. I suppose i will have to mock them up when i get the parts in unless someone has already done that.
2. I need recommendations on what drive shafts work best. Currently i am using stampede / rustler shafts on the 4x4.

Well i have 2 axles, the chassis and parts needed to convert the middle axle to power through coming. Hopefully i'll have a roller in a few weeks

Reign RC doesn't carry the K2-6 anymore, you have to buy an updated version of it from RC4WD.
