Anyone out there happen to have a selection of the K5 bodies available to post up side by side comparison shots? I keep seeing the trucks by themselves and can't help but wonder what they look like compared to each other for detail and size. I know some are going to stand out like the rc4wd being a hard body. If I missed any let me know.

I think the ones out right now are as follows but could be missing some.
73-91

Traxxas 1979 K5
Vaterra Ascender 1986 K5
Gmade Buffalo K5 (86ish)
RC4wd K5 (1976?)
Pro-Line 1980 K5

69-72
Traxxas 69&72 K5 (they just change grille\bumpers correct?)
Axial 1969 K5

This would be a cool comparison photo. I currently only have an unpainted Vaterra K5 and the RC4WD version.

I can picture what I don't like about each of them in my mind but would be cool to see all of that nitpicking in one place lol

Not much help but a while back I took this one. Do you need to know anything in particular? I have all three bodies somewhere still and could take detailed pics next to each other.

I'll post up a couple pics a little later after dinner, should be able to help you out."thumbsup"

Hope this helps, it's my understanding that the Gmade body is a clone of the Vaterra body, not verified but what I've heard.

fxman, kincer- that is perfect thanks! I was just curious of the overall look compared to each other, reading dimensions doesn't really tell the story like seeing them next to each other.
