Theres a time when opportunity knocks and ya answer. Chris(Cboggs) asked me to be a part of the 5th Dimension with the fabrication and design process so naturally became a part of the team. Working on getting this new pro together for the AZ shootout.

5th dimension Dominator chassis
Aluminum fighters customized - custom front upper link plates move the servo to a more traditional location along with my custom length rear tubes to widen the original SDS design
Creeper Bob custom rear Ti shafts
BN Machine link sliders and rear custom BB brace mount
Team Brood Conflux 30t Type ST
Holmes BR minis
Custom made ti links by me
Silver voodoos on Krawlfreak wheels

Forgive the cell phone pics... lost my camera and wanted to at least get it posted before its done.

This chassis has been so easy to assemble. Plenty of room for electronics and the link geometry is spot on. Looking forward to putting it through its paces in AZ here in june. Big change after running my old pro for several years now but change is good. Waiting on my pinions and BB brace and time to test and tune. "thumbsup"

do you have a picture off youre wheels???
nice build BTW...
Looks like a great crawler
Thanks. You can find them in the vendors section under tires and wheels. They are the raw meth design. Very strong and great looking wheel.

It's a great chassis. I put mine in my museum Of comp parts. It just works.
Chassis does feel great. Got limited time to get it dialed in but feels like itll be a easy transition.

Really surprised you retired the other truck !! it was working so awesome for YA

Look-in Good Dan "thumbsup"
Thanks tom. Was hard to change but berto now has a new rig to compete with. Change is always good.

It shouldn't take long to get a feel for it. My rig was about 3.6lbs with lalla rovers and it worked. I also used rcbros shocks with soft springs. I'm not saying it's the right set up. I'm just saying it was predictable.

Only way i roll is with rcbros springs. They work great with the scx shocks.

You let Berto get his hands on the old chassis! Damn he's gonna make that thing look terrible!:lmao:

Yep. Hes ready to take on the executioner role on us all now. "thumbsup"

That's a beautiful crawler. It's wonderful to see pure competition RC crawlers still being made.

..Uploaded from the lab @ the C.I. Compound...
Thanks. Wouldnt be at all possible without all the awesome vendors here on RCC. Makes it exciting to be apart of producing parts to keep this hobby alive and kicking.

Took it out for a shakedown run tonight. Chassis and setup works better than I would of thought from work table to rocks. Few minor tweaks with the motor and pinion setup and its practice till june 5th for the az shootout.

Motors are back out of it for now but snapped a pic before i dismantled it.

Thanks bruce from BDN on the quick delivery of parts. Brace fits like a champ.

Big thanks to EddieO. He got the motors back to me awhile ago but had to source pinions. Big thanks to cboggs. Took it out monday for some testing. The 30t type st confluxs are beasts. Put a 11t in the axles and its got insane wheel speed and great torque. Testing went well. Need some link and shock tuning and its ready for the az shootout. The dominator chassis just flat out works.

Kinda suck at these build threads but got some time while the router creates some dominators so heres some recent pics actually on some rocks. Cars been working good. Staying in the top 3 so for this season. Keep messing with it to try and get it to react better with my aggressive style. :lmao:
