KMS winch's all in one place

The K3 SW 220oz servo winch is out and going strong ,Have had only one break down ,so its a keeper ,Guys that are running it have only one complaint ,,It breaks 200 test pound line ,,
There has been a few questions about mounting the K3 servo winch ,I always recommend a Fair lead ,, rod end works good ,,But some places on the rig are hard to get the line from winch to fair lead ,,So heres a You Tube from Lowbuget to help get you going in a good direction,
Thank you ,,Robert,,"thumbsup"

Do you ever do any videos on how you make them @kms or is it a secret

Upgrading an R/C is a never ending process!

No I havent considered doing a building video ,,The main reason is I build them in stages 20 spools ,20 modified srevo cases ,main shafts, then assembely ,,Would be hard ,as I do the work bye myself With the windows cloesed and doors locked,,LOL "thumbsup"

The only secret is getting the main shaft to hold in the main servo gear ..I use my lathe to hold main shaft and thread on the main gear and lock it down ,,so far so good lots of K3's out there and only a few have came loose ,,I do repair my work ,, Most guys really like the K3 and say nice things about it and my work,,Thank you ,,,,

Oh my ,,,Wellcome to TCS crawlers ,New Vendor for KMS winches ,,Thank you ,,,Watch the new K3 220oz its a power house ,Blue Monkey Rc is still here as well buying & reselling winches ,,got a email today he's helping one of our guys getting his radio adjustments done,, Thank you guys for the help,,Robert,,,"thumbsup"

The most popular has been the K3 SW 180 oz servo winch ,,It has good power ;; lifts 16 lbs;; It has a small foot print for a servo winch ,Mounts on the Blue Monkey CMS like it was made for it ,,,Guys have been happy with it ,There are some three years old and still pulling strong ,,,It does require a fair lead and a Heyok 4amp relay winch controller and a 3 channel radio or a 2 position winch controller from Heyok ,,Old rod end works great for fair lead,it can hide back in chassis under body and route winch line threw antenna tube to fair lead ..Line needs to be centered on the spool for winchin -in ,,,Thank you Robert "thumbsup"
It can also be purchased at Blue Monkey RC ,RPPHobby ,TCS Crawlers.
Or from me

It looks pretty good! I want something really strong and that will last and it looks like i can hide it well for my new bumper im going to make

Great winch! I usually build my own with an external spool, but no room under the TH hood for that. I'm running HeyOK's standard 3pos controller by the way and it works just fine.

Since you mentioned the Blue Monkey setup, I figured I would drop you some pics:

The setup looks great ,,Blue Monkey RC builds some great parts ...Thank you for sharing ,always welcome ,Robert"thumbsup"

Ok air out some laundry here ,,I needed to do some redesigning of the K3 220oz servo winch ,both the Free spool and non free spool ,Reason The winch doesn't fit the Blue Monkey CMS plate laying down on it's side ,So I have done more machining on the servo case and made it a little more than a 1/8 th smaller ,,It still needs to be shimmed up .150 and over .057 ,And it does fit then here are some pics of the K3 FS 220 & K3 SW220 servo winch ,,Robert
