Kraken RC now has a 1/10th scaler? That’s right folks, Kraken has just dropped the Stryker 1/10 Hyper-Scale UTV/SXS! The Stryker was engineered for proper scale looks, while also introducing a new high performance 1/10th scale platform into their line up. Here are more details-

* Will be available as an RTR or ARTR
* True to scale, hyper-realistic performance
* RTR comes with 3S brushless system & 2.4GHz radio
* Realistic driver figure
* Long travel suspension

The interesting part is how they are launching the Stryker. Kraken RC is going to go the crowdfunding/Indiegogo route to help check interest. They are known for cool 1/5th scale stuff, but this will be their first dive into the 1/10th scale market.
Hit their Kraken RC 1/10 Stryker Indiegogo page which shows the introductory pricing of $329 and should be available for pre-order soon. We will have a video link posted shortly as well.

It looks pretty cool, and the Vekta is hell of a machine, but how do they expect us to sign up without giving us any specs? I just want to know the wheelbase, width, and tire size for now.

Seriously.

Does "1/10 hyper scale UTV" mean it is the size of the average scale platform (12ish inch wheelbase, 1.9 tires, etc) or is it 1/10 the size of a real UTV making it more Yeti Jr size?

Ima go with “Smaller than ‘1/10’ scale” for $500, Alex.

If it’s a Twin Hammers size it may be cool to have and run. Those SCT tires don’t do it for me but they do lend for it to be a basher out of the box.

EDIT: I just realized the Can-Am is 1/18. So I'd just want this in scale with the rest of 1/10 rigs.... so yes like Brake Weight said.. Twin hammers size.

If the Vekta is much to go buy, this car will have teething issues. I know one guy at the local club with a Vekta and it's an unreliable money pit that gets pulled out for special occasions, until the transmission decides to explode.

Looks as if it would perform well, but it's not the type of R/C I'm interested in.

But, I don't like 1:1 UTVs and ATVs much - if I owned land to drive off-road on (or lived near a public offroad park), I'd prefer to have a modded beater Samurai and a Yamaha TW200.

Nicer than the 1/18th Axial Can-am, though!
