krawls XR.....with a dash of y-town please!

again here are the lunsford link lengths i used and the finished eye to eye measurement after the bending.

front lowers 110 mm links with revo ends (4.8" e2e)
front uppers 110 mm links with revo ends ( 4.65" e2e)
rear uppers. 115 mm links with revo ends (4.95" e2e)
rear lowers 135mm links with jato and revo ends (5.70" e2e)

Thanks Jeremy, I'll get them on order, although I have some 5 and 6mm stainless in those length I may do some test bends with.

Krawls what is the website to get my hands on any of the chassis y-town makes?? Especially the new v4 when it comes out?? "thumbsup"

everything is in the vendors section that is available right now.

cool, i will have something for you in the next few days. got held up from the storm north of phoenix. messed up all my shipping so still waiting on material....

i really wanted to try the 1/16th cab so here it is....i also made a body while i am waiting for a few items to show up.

i know the 1/16th by itself wont hold up on a 2.2 but i i backed the cab section with the body material so it should hold up if i dont beat on it too hard.

now i got windows!

If your board work on that V4 BJ please I used your advice and made my V3 in to a V4 today and it worked great but now I know every one in my club will want me to do it, and I rather just tell them to buy one from you.

Nothing like tossing out a chassis if you mess up.

Your truck looks great Jeremy.

I am planning on bending some links, now i know this is home made but what store bought benders is there out there that can bend as tight bends as this one can, if none where can i get my hand on some of those rollers??? Thanks!! "thumbsup"

link time.
these things made my H.F. bender go into a corner and cry so the "VIOLATOR" had a stroke of genius and came up with a five minute bender. this thing is awesome....

They are sliding glass door rolers. Home depot has em for @7 bucks. Finding someone like the violator to build one in 5 minutes.......priceless!

updates!!

i waited to get this thing going because of all the bearing failures...so i ended up doing the 9mm bearing mod and also replaced all the other 8mm bearings as well.

for electronics i am going with the mamba micros shrink wrapped and the new 614ff receiver from futaba.

while i was waiting for my electronics i made a small battery tray to get the battery up to the front axle....OLD SCHOOL!!

i am planning to not run much weight at all in the wheel so every bit i can get to the front will help with the bias i am after.

even though the new receiver is small, i shrinked it and made it even smaller!

i am working on getting some final weights, and i will post them soon.

Wow...axles are spotless....get this bad boy on the rocks..

Was thinking of running 2 micro sidewinders...how you like the mamba micro?

614ff receiver so cool 4 channels and a BEC slot.

plus it looks half the size!!!!!

Does this work with a 4PK?

Also just noticed you have your servo flipped....I assume it performs the same??
I think I'm going to try this with my servo...prob able to put a shorter servo horn
on to get the full steer...
