Pro level chassis kit at an Entry level price - That is the Krazed Goal!

Our un-Stuck line is designed for the 2.2S class of competitive rock crawling and has been showing great interest from new drivers as well as veterans of crawling.

Based around on the popular Losi Night Crawler/LCC axles and Night Crawler transmission.
We kept the sleek simplicity of the un-Stuck and worked in the ability to tune your Losi geometry and suspension.

Capable of mounting the transmission with motor forward or rearward by simply flipping the skid direction around and swapping chassis side plates.
Good for changing chassis weight bias.

CHASSIS:
2mm 3K Twill Weave Carbon Fiber
CNC Cut

SKID PLATE:
CNC Machined Delrin
Pocketed to relieve material for weight
Encapsulated lower link system
Overlapping side edging to help protect carbon fiber

Reversible mounting to change motor weight bias

HARDWARE:
(4) Axial 55mm Black aluminum cross braces
3mm Stainless steel fasteners

DRIVETRAIN:
Direct Bolt in for Losi NightCrawler (not included)

SHOCKS: (not included)
We recommend 3.5'' shocks for the un-Stuck line.Wether they be Axial SCX/Icons or Traxxas 2662 big bores that becomes drivers choice.
Due to the Losi axles having a narrower mounting location compared to Axial we found SCX shocks to fit better. Traxxas caps may bind against the chassis due to their size unless you choose to run them upside sown.

FRONT/REAR AXLE PLATES: (not included)
This was a spot we thought to help save drivers money and give them choices. Losi axles have upper link mounts and their own servo plate.
Drivers can choose to use their existing mount locations or we do offer front and rear plates separately.

Our Rear plate is a direct bolt on to the top of the existing plastic mount.

Our front plate allows for you to mount the battery and servo directly over the top of the axle.
**Note though, we have sold this plate for stock width Losi axles and have heard of steering clearance problems. This plate is really intended for front axles with some sort of XR conversion done to them.**

What link lengths do I need?
There is no set length for the un-Stuck lines. It really comes down to driver preference on bias. We can tell you the eye to eye on the skid is 2.28'' from front to back.

As more builds come in we will try to post as many lengths for reference.

You want to use Big Bores?

They will work ..... But they bind. If you mount the bodies up and the bottom eyelets in the stock axle location you may notice the top bind on articulation. You can try two changes to help.

First would be to mount the shocks upside down. This would allow more room at the chassis ears when articulated.

The other option is to mount the bottom of the shock on the outside of the axle ears. This would also increase the angle of the shocks and provide a bit more side stability. You can run the shock upside down or right side up when mounting them this way.

What is 'Encapsulated Link System' ?

The Losi uses a stock lower pin system that gos through both link ends. That pin is smaller then our traditional 3mm screws. Staying with the original triangulation of the lower links we found a way to use the stock link ends and pin and still have the skid securely fasten to the chassis sides.

If you choose to use different link ends with the more traditional Traxxas style ball ends you can still do so with that also. You will just need to use longer (25mm) length screws.

Heres a few pictures to demonstrate for you.

First attach one side

Next slide the Losi link pin in one side

You will need to push it the remaining way in

And simply attach opposite side

My transmission hits?

You will need to cut a notch out of the motor/gear plate on the Night Crawler transmission. A simple dremel or even a file is all you need and its not much at all to clear the closed side of the chassis. We even got picture to show it all tucked in.

Can you make the motor go lower?

In stock form No. We've heard the commotion of this makes the motor sit higher then normal and we've looked at possible solutions. We chose to leave it this way. We've measured the mounting height of a stock skid and found ours is 0.13'' taller. For us to come to stock height we would have to trim down our chassis pieces and that would leave to much of a weak spot. There was simply to many Cons to trying to get the motor/trans lower.

Heres the link lengths I run on my Losi un-Stuck

Rear Lower 125mm
Front Lower 120mm
Rear upper 125mm
Front upper 110mm

Those are eye to eye measurements ..... The front uppers will need a little bend in the middle area to help the rod ends not bind on the front axle plate.

I'll keep posting as things come up that may help builders. If theres anyunanswered questions feel free to post them or pm me. Thanks.

We've stopped giving these with every Losi kit - they are a great add on for the tuning but the limited time ran its course.

New stock just in - First batch sold out so well we have extended the Free Tuner Set offer. "thumbsup"

Thank you to all the Losi builders out there. We greatly appreciate all the support!!

Put a few more in stock last night and still have Free SCX Tuner pistons going with each order. "thumbsup"

We thank you all again for the support - Great to see all the orders and support still out there from Losi drivers.

Got a small batch bagged up tonight - SCX tuner Sets still going free with every Losi order.

"thumbsup""thumbsup"

Got mine in yesterday along with a bunch of other goodies and I'm digging the breast cancer awareness bands which my daughter is rockin at the moment. Craftsmanship looks A+ and I know this chassis will help me driving some (at least I hope so, it needs it).

Will this chassis work with the comp crawler transmission that has the dig from the factory?

Thanks!

I dont believe so but havent tried it, I believe the closed side of it wont have enough room to clear the case.

Just updated the second post with the link lengths we found work best with our un-Stuck.

Also just got more skids done and chassis's packaged up ...... in stock and ready to go. "thumbsup"

Thanks for all the support and keeping the Losi alive!

More Inventory added ....... Thanks so much for the support - its great seeing the Losi come back alive for drivers. "thumbsup"

If you havent seen it yet jump up to the Losi specific thread and check out Codyboy's front axle mod. Now you can have the XR steering like the Axial guys do
