Kv vs Turn value?

I'm looking for a motor to my scx10 kit, but I'm a bit confused about which of these to values are the most important for a crawler set?
I have read that high T gives more power but also that the Kv should be low?

So whats the best combination for these two, is it like 55T and 900Kv.

I seen many with 10T and 1500-2000Kv, is that a option for a crawler, or should I look for one with a higher T value like 30-55T?

kv=rpm per volt, meaning that for every volt the motor gets, it will spin at that rpm. for example, a 2400kv motor on 2s lipo would spin at 17760rpm. you are also mixing motor types. in general, brush is rated in turns and brushless is rated in kv. some brushless are rated in turns but i have never seen a brushed motor rated in kv. what motor you get depends on where you will be running it. a good place to start is a 27t brushed or its brushless equivalent, 17.5t (around 2000kv).

Ah thanks, not easy to be a newbie mixing everything up :)

So if I'm looking for a brushless then I should be looking for a low Kv when I using it for a crawler

So could this be a good option to start with a brushless 32T@1200KV?

im kinda new to this too but if i were u looking for crawling low speed power stick with a brushed motor. if you are looking for speed get brushless. ive read alot about brushless having problems at low speed.

in general, that is true but with sensored systems that are properly geared can be just as smooth. for scalers, you usually want something with a little more wheel speed than crawlers.

do yourself a favor and pop over to http://holmeshobbies.com/home.php and pick up a motor/esc combo. Takes a lot of guesswork out of it, and you know your getting good stuff.

Ive only run my motor so far, but it works great even on NiCD. The BR-XL is one of the best ESC's on the market for crawling too.
