Just in time for winter, I ordered my Mini-Z 4Runner (and there's an SCX24 Deadbolt on the way, as well) so me and the boys don't have to freeze our nyloc nuts off outside if we want to crawl.

Immediately went for weighted wheels and the brass rear axle collars, but soon found a dude called sleekun on eBay who 3D prints lots of cool upgrade/conversion parts for the Mini-Z. To fit these wheels on the front along with the Hot Racing 9.5g weights took some extra spacing, via some scrap lexan glued to the hub adapters.

Wheels are Axial Methods and the tires are RGT Swampers, like you get on the Enduro24.

And here's the materials I've gathered so far to build the indoor course so we can drink and drive and get eaten by dinosaurs!

Indoor courses are awesome. Here is what mine started as, I now have 2 more, much tougher layouts made. I may revise them and make it 1 long section into a loop to go from the floor to the table and back down

Rad looking course! Here's the progress I made tonight over a couple hours. I definitely need to buy more spray foam! The "ramp to nowhere" is just the start or a wavy ridge that throw you on and off camber as you climb up, across, and down the other side. I'll be cutting and contouring all the spray foam so it resembles rocks instead of long turds. This will also be painted and "scaled out" with a focus more on fun than realism.
