Hey going to the Moto GP race this Sunday,,,,never been there before. Only able to get there on Sunday late morning. So I'm thinking the best of the grasssy spots will be taken and should get a grandstand seat. Not really a fan of bench seats 9like it down on ground level) but wanted to know if someone could advise on what is best with getting there so late,,,,thanks!!!!!!

The cork screw on top of the hill is one of the best places to watch as the bikes approach on a long uphill, are hard on the brakes entering, going fairly slowly (relatively) through the mess, then accelerating hard out in a slight downhill turn. You'll be able to see most of the track from this area too. The track is set up so you can walk around most of it and watch from several vantage points. I'd suggest taking the walk during the early races and finding a good spot to your liking.

Bring your own water and some eats because it's very expensive. They do allow coolers too but check and make sure that's still o.k. Also there are no tree's so some shade of some sorte could help a bunch.

And post pics when you get back. "thumbsup"

Absolutely walk around early and find your favorite spot, very good advice.

As is advising the Corkscrew.

Laguna Seca... nice.

Grandstands suck. Corkscrew is the best place out on the grass, this is where you can see most of the track. Get there as early as you can the traffic to get in will take hours, I'm not kidding. Wish I was going this year."thumbsup"

What everyone else said, Corkscrew is the best spot to sit. I also like sitting in the grandstands coming out of turn 4. It's also fun watching them come out of turn 5 and watch them wheelie up the hill to turn 6.

Like Mayhem said, get there early, you can take a backpack and/or a cooler. 15x15x12 I believe is the cooler size. No glass bottle's or alcohol.
