lead shot in tires??

I was using a setup at the beginning. I modified my axial 40's to accept a bike tire valve and plugged the holes. I aired down the tires a little and had around 10 oz of heavy weight bb's in the wheels.

To say the least it was heavy and stuck to the rocks, but didn't turn great because of the weight. Couldn't run fast because the bb's caused wobbling, noisy as hell...the aired down stuck welll and the bb's in the bottom helps with the tire conforming to the rocks, but a good foam setup is better IMO. I run very narrowed commando wheels with stock star cut foams now and it runs better.

Thanks for your input, I am running stock clod rims with these tires(giant trac) and just spot glued them on so I could change it if it does not work as goos as I am expecting it to. What kind of foams would I get, Who makes foams to fit a stock clod rim/tire?

using lead weight at very low speed works reasonably well......but! as soon as you hit the power, centrifugal force kicks in and the truck bounces about
