Medical use Studies have shown for cancer it can reduce vomiting and nausea. Just watched an interesting show on HBO about medical use. If anyone in my family was suffering, I would like to see it available.

Rheumatoid Arthritis is another. Not only does it relieve pain, but has also shown many positive effects.

There are a few people in my family who have suffered from its effects, and marijuana would help that.

As long as it is controlled like alcohol, I see no problem with it. You can all ready buy bongs and blunt papers legally in stores, people arnt going home and rolling their own cigars and the government knows that.

As for all other drugs, no.

Yeah so did gold injections way back when

ok if its controlled like alcohol no pot on sundays! and i mean it! to only a few certain small counties.

I want to see some reasons!
I would rather see the US tax and control the drug than spend money keeping crackheads in prison. Prison is for people that are dangerous to me and my family. Prison is for violent criminals and theifs. Who is the pothead endangering?

you don't think a drug addict can be dangerous ? ive heard of drug addicts stealing which sometimes is by mugging that can be violent....whether it be pot, crack, heroin or beer it all can be dangerous to the consumer and people around them.ever hear of a drug deal gone bad ? alot of this stuff is dangerous.

ironically with that said i do agree, it should be legal and controlled. the way it is being handled now is clearly not working.what ever way it will is going to be handled there will always be a problem.

Here in California you can go to your Doctor and get a Medical Marijuana Card.
From there you can chose from many Medical Marijuana Dispensaries to buy your Medicine from LEGALLY.
Since 1996 thats over 10 years ago.

alcohol is one of the worst drugs around. and one of the only legal ones  . my mother is an alcoholic, and because of it she is now a diagnosed paranoid delusional skitzophrenic. i don't care how much pot you smoke or how good it is, that will never happen on pot. i love it when a person who drinks says "pot is terrible and should not be legal" lol. the irony is too much. and a person on pot is not going to go out and steal or mug people unless they did that kinda stuff before they smoked pot. the majority of pot smokers use it either for medicinal perposes or just to take the edge off after a days work. in a study more than twice the amount of alcoholics call in sick for work than pot heads do. in my own personal experiece with pot, it makes me want to get up and do stuff, be it clean, organize or go work on my crawler. so i don't see the motivational problem that everyone talks about. unless again you were a lazy *** before you started smoking it. but i actually dont want pot to be legal. that would mean harsher punishments for those who grow it. and i know that compaired to a hard core stoner, some government hired j/o wouldn't grow half as good of weed. i just want alcohol to be illegal too."thumbsup"

I agree maybe it should be legalized for the simple reason is that the money being spent on the "war on drugs" could be better spent supplying it in a legal fashion, controlled and taxed. I also agree with grapegoat and maybe the quality wouldn't be as good as someone growing themselves, but at least it would be legal and readily available. And as far as comparing drunk drivers to stoned drivers...a comedian once said "that this is not even close...drunk drivers are far more dangerous on the roads, how many times have you heard of someone causing a fatal car accident while high on pot?..I mean just the other day I was soooooo stoned I was sitting at a stop sign waiting for it to turn green!"

Sure people are funny as hel! when their on it but, I dont see a use for it. So I said NO. Never touched a drug in my life except Alcohol, and dont plan on doing drugs either.

By the Way the Marines wont even concider you if you have Used drugs and they do test, before, during and after Basic.

LMAO I have a lot of former Marine buddys that got high plenty during their yrs in the corps. That was back in the 80's though.
Marines in Nam were doing all kinds of drugs.

Maybe you guys should read Hightimes mag. The gov already has pot farms, the pot they grow has a much higher THC content then the stuff from the streets.

Yes. I am familiar with High Times, but do you really think the gov would supply the good stuff at wholesale? Doubt it. Sure it would be available but it would be expensive and taxed out the a$$. It wouldn't be the common stuff, it'd be like expensive wines...the common stuff would be like Mad Dog 20/20.

So super skunk bud is cheap anywhere?

Legalize it.

Take the criminal aspect out of the equation.

Then tax it and let it do some good for a change.

X2, then they could keep and put more murders, rapists and child molesters in jail. As for taxing it, goverment could grow it and sell it like cigarettes and tax it, save the ozone and help pay off our country's huge debt!!!
