out in the shop, reloading ammo!
With my son taking his driving a little more serious as he gets better, also comes his complaining of small things about his truck :mrgreen: The wheels he had on his truck would rub the steering due to the inside buttonhead screws.

So after talking with Steve about his new wheels, I had to pick up a set from him. He offers up a tad wider offset and I felt that was great for Coltons truck as it will still keep some of the scrub radius down, stop rubbing the steering and allow him more "throw" of his steering as he no longer is rubbing his shocks also. I'm not positive of the exact offset, maybe 1/8", but with stock foams and rock grabbers, he sits 10.5" outside of lug/outside of lug(was a tad over 10.25" before). But this depends on how much buldge your tires have on the sidewall

He has ran these wheels now for close to a month and loves them. So thanks to Steve and Liberty, I do not have to hear him cry anymore :lmao:

The wheel itself weighs in at 4oz.
The hardware weighs in at 1 1/4 oz (rings and screws)
Stock tire and foam weigh in at 3 3/4 oz.

So bare setup weighs in at 9oz(his rear setup), but depends on tire.
I added 1 full wrap of lead stick on weight(1/4 oz sections) and it weighs 4.25oz. So his front tires weigh in at 13 1/4 oz...

Thanks guys...

Norm, he told me the same thing :ror:

Mariner, I guess he loves them..I offered to put on some Rovers I had laying around and he didn't want them. He places in the top 5 at times, so he does well with them "thumbsup"

Well,I'm glad Colton is happy with his new wheels.8)

Running Rovers with Panther 400 foams, mine sits at 10 3/8" outside. Pretty close to the same with Panther Cougars and Panther foams. Some of the difference is probably the side lugs on the Grabbers. IMO,around 10 3/8"-10 1/2" is a really good width. You get max throw out of your steering without getting all up in your shocks/links and still skinny enough to easily get through tight gates. Seems to side hill really well to. Some guys like running around 10" wide. IMHO,it's like crawling a bicycle when your that skinny.
