Lightweight, steel gear transmission for 380 motor?

New here, but been reading for a while!

I’m in search of a lightweight crawler transmission for a HH 380 Revolver motor. Ideally steel gears, .5 mod gears (48p is fine too) but most importantly it needs to be in stock somewhere so I can get it next week.

Any suggestions?

The Dlux Slider would be perfect but it’s out of stock.

The TGH 2.low is pretty compact and in stock actually, I dont know if they're gonna ship like the last batch did (at a later date) or as they're ordered so you may want to email them to ask if you have a time crunch.

EDIT: I'm also intrigued by the 380 revolver for a lightweight build so I'd be curious so to hear and see more. You should post up a build thread "thumbsup"

Thanks, Humboldt! The TGH 2.Low has 540 motor bolt spacing though, right? I’m trying to avoid having to fab up an adapter or modify the bolt spacing.

Maybe there is a forward motor mount for an SCX10 trans for a 380 motor out there?

I dont know that i've ever seen a 380 motor mount conversion, though I've never actually looked for one. I think this will likely require some fabrication.

The 380 revolver is the only small motor I'd consider pairing with 1/10 scale components and seeing as its so new I dont think I've even seen it done yet let alone seeing parts made for 380's

I have a Revolver 380 and had it installed in my ECX Barrage for a while. The Barrage trans has the correct bolt spacing for the Revolver 380 to mount up, but
the gearing is a little on the high side for crawling. I loved the smoothness and power of the little Revolver, but the plastic gears in the ECX trans did not last long. I ended up ditching it and installing a regular 1/10 scale 3 gear-style trans and 540 can motor.

I'll look into the DLux slider trans, but would love to hear of any other options for metal gear trans that will bolt up to a 380 motor.
