They have a lot of mass and the wire, too.
It helps to have a "helping hand" that holds the wires in place because the solder will stay liquid long enough for your fingers to get bbq'd.
And: always plug them while soldering and wait for them to be cold before pulling the dummy.
How about XT90 ? Same as XT60 but better right? Or it’s not compatible to each other?
Correct me if I’m wrong but XT90 is for higher amps. 4S and above. Kinda overkill for most of my rigs.
Looks like XT60 wins. Just ordered 20 pairs with the grey caps. Now time to practice my soldering skills before they arrive.

XT20, XT60 and XT90 are different classe, and as such different sizes.
You can not plug a 30 in a 60 or a 60 in a 90.
They look the same because they are just scaled up, in the pic you see in shops you have nothing that helps you determine the size, but i'd say xt90 has plugs double the size of xt30's.
