Hey guys i was speaking to the president of ARCOR the dirt offroad track. They are trying to recontruct the board and the club over there because lack of support from members. The idea was brought up that maybe it would be helpful if the nmrc club joined with them to make a albuquerque or a new mexico rc offroad club. That may make things easier with getting sponsors for events, donations by companys. and just more members with almost the same interests. another benefit is that advertising and promotional events that arcor does such as monster truck events can benifit both r/c sports. Hopefully we can get enough support and money generating to get a full r/c facillity that can include more longterm crawling areas either at arcor or hopefully eventually a better location to be quallity enough and roar approved to have national events!!!

AGAIN this is just and idea. im just presenting it to you guys on behalf of arcor to see what you guys might think

That sounds pretty cool. . . There would have to be some serious discussions about how things will be run etc. But a cool idea. . . And I may be down for sc too

do you have $12K to put dirt in? i sure dont!!!

I think if you just left your back door open today you might get just about all of it you need blowing right in..... :lmao:

Seriously, that might be a really cool idea. Multiple racing and crawling tracks in one spot would be a lot of fun and probably would draw a bit more support. I've always wondered if the City would sponsor some sort of park like that. Hey, if they can build a skate park or two.....
