Alight I know about www.gunsamerica.com and www.gunbroker.com is there any other place to get good deals on this? I had a Glock Model 22 that I bought brand new for $450 with 15 round mags and Night sights. Do Sigs normally run $300 or so more then Glocks? The cheapest 9mm Sig I found was used for $539.99... Seems a little on the high side for a used 9mm.

Sig = real accurate piece of high end work.

Glock = name, but sadly not the high end work of a Sig.

One thing to watch out for with a Sig, is the ejector is buildt into the frame. If you shoot a lot it is something to think about. They are very nice, but is the only real fault in them. But the price seems about right for one...............

Have you looked into a HK usp compact 9mm?

I own both the usp compact 9mm and .45. The 45 is my fav pistol
I had a old sig p220 9mm, but I sold it to a buddy:-(:-(:-(

The next gun I buy will be the sig p226 9mm"thumbsup"

I've made purchases with auctionarms.com and gunbroker.com
It helps buying guns over the internet when you work for a FFL holder!

I think MP5 is a government only weapon but I'm not positive on that one. There might be a counterpart like the AR-15 is to an M4 or M16.

Thats what I'm looking for. P226.... Anyone can buy a MP-5.. But it can have Burst on it... I think. Does anyone know for Sure. I know a Law just passed two weeks ago that affected those. But not sure if it was State or Nat. Wide. Whats FFL?

I have a USP 9mm great gun for the range, though I haven't been for many weeks lately...

I choose 9mm for the ammo price, cheap for long days at the range.

I've always wanted me a FN 5Seven but I'm told with the new law in effect you need special registration since its ammo capacity is so high. Also the ammo price was quite a bit higher than the 9mm, so it'd be more a show and shoot, not a true range gun.

Semi MP5's, w/ 16" barrels are hard to find, most are copies now, but I think Mesa tactical in AZ sells a very nice one. If you want short barrel/ auto/burst, you will have to go class3. Most are sear guns, as originals are over 10k for a primo one. good luck.

Erin knows what he is talking about.
Most of the clones are crap and are nothing close to the quality of an HK.
To get a real one with a class 3 is easily 10k.
If you really want something that shoots a pistol round find a AR15 converted to 9mm.
As far a 9mm go with a P226 and you should pay around $600 for a new one. I've had one for ten years now and it has never let me down"thumbsup"
