Loops LJ70 Land Cruiser

I’ve been slowly working on this one for years. I never took build pics along the way. So here is where it is now. Who knows when I’ll finish it...

Loops LC body
I painted it Harvest Orange w/white roof
TCS aluminum L Trail chassis
Losi MRC fully built front and rear axles. Metal lockers. Steel CVD, SS rear straight axles, aluminum knuckles and Cs.
Modded SDI4x4 drive shafts
Tranny built with fresh grease, bearings and metal locker
Losi aluminum shocks
Heavier springs for this heavy body
HH mini torquemaster motor
RC4WD beadlock wheels. 1.55
1.55 Rock Crushers

Nice Little Toyota .... Love the build, such shame that Loops is not around I had one of these bodies on my cart a couple months before they closed down and did not pull the trigger.

Loops had some really cool stuff. And yeah I love the old MRC drivetrain for smaller builds. The tranny and axles CAN be built up nicely aftermarket. This should be a fun rig.

I don’t recall but I don’t belive they had the 4 door Land Cruiser. They did have a cool 4 door Pajero/Montero body and also a 2dr pajeri body just like Tamiya. They made Jeep ZJ body too. I was lucky enough to grab one.
