LOSI 1/24 Scale Micro Crawler

I had the chance to drive one of these a few months ago and cant believe how well it works. And at 1/24 scale all you model builders can find a 1/24 model body like a truck or whatever and it will mount up perfect!!!

Looking at the exploded view I don't see a stub axle pin or a hex. How is the wheel driven? Or is the pin just omitted in the view?
