Hi, this is my first post and would like to introduce myself. I am from Maine and have been involved in RC trucks and cars since I owned a grasshopper back in the 80`s. Well I`m 42 now and after quite a few years away I want to get back into it, and rock crawling looks extremely fun!

I am thinking of building a hustler chassis crawler and have a question. Do the Low Boyz pedulum wheels work well? I would think you`d want the weight evenly distributed? But again I`m a newb to crawling. Thanks for any info!

Cheers,

Rick

Are you planning on using the 2.2 or the Super version for your Hustler? Also, I havn't heard of the wheels that you are talking about. Could you let me know where to find info on them?

Yea, I am planning the SE version, Thought you were talking tire size, although RCP seems to "out of stock" on alot of products. Business must be good!"thumbsup" Any pros or cons between the SE and the 2.2?

i'm thinking of the same wheel it all looks great but one thing i'm unsure of is it looks like max weight will be just shy of 7 oz were the vanquish you can get them alot heavier with the added bullets so hmm lol what to go with. The fact that the axles aren't turning the weight with the low boyz and low cog is the plus for me

Well we are seeing a resurgence in the super population 2.2 is where it's at. You need to sit down and decide if you are going to comp or not. If not build what ever you want. If you are, then sit down and read through the different sections and decide which Axle (MOA or Shafty), and chassis you want. With the new Sportsmens class I believe you should look into a Venom creeper if you decide you just want to dip your toes in the water to see if you like it. Crawling is not for everyone.
