Lunar eclips

It was definitely cool to see. I got up and watched for a while.
Here's an 11 minute exposure from last night during the peak of the eclipse with a shorter exposure chopped in.

We didnt get any pics (battery)
But it was really cool to watch, other than my neck killing me.:)

We live in a very small town(500 hick souls) with open land all around. and the coolest thing to me was when the eclips started blocking about 50% of the moon is started getting darker, and the stars started poping up.

next thing you know the all the horses, goats, dogs, roosters started making a hell of alot of noise.
They knew something was wrong, then when it got to 100% everything started seetling down.

Deffinatly worth watching

I'm really glad I was able to see the eclipse with my family. It was pretty cool but wish I would've tried snapping some pics. Just figured my digital wouldn't see it well enough to get a good pic.

Can't wait until some of you guys post up the high quality professional pics!

I give the Lunar Eclipse of 2010 a 10 out of 10 "thumbsup"

It was fun to watch, started here around 1:35am EST and I finally went to bed at 3:00. Clear sky, it was beautiful. I have to check my information but someone said at work today the last lunar eclipse on a winter solstice was 400 years ago. Pretty cool.

"Since Year 1, I can only find one previous instance of an eclipse matching the same calendar date as the solstice, and that is December 21, 1638," says Chester. "Fortunately we won't have to wait 372 years for the next one...that will be on December 21, 2094."

I couldn't see it.
