I had the idea to use my m18 batteries to power my chargers since I already have them. Tried an adapter off Amazon first

It's nice with usb and usb c ports as well, but will not even power up the ovonic charger. I kept it for my little 4 place 2s charger.

I ended up with this one, it works great. Today I charged 2 500mah and 1 1200 ah 3s' and the m18 was still at 3 out of 4 bars.

As a contractor I like this idea. Unfortunately, the power adapters for most of your common 18-20v power tool batteries have a very limited output rating. Obviously this is for safety so it is what it is. Great option when you’re in a pinch or out in the field where AC power isn’t available.

That's why I bought the "dumb" adapter.

I don't know why the one from Amazon wouldn't work, it advertised 30 Amps, and I know I am no where near that.

I know most rc guys will probably have a few 4k+ mah battery's they could use, but for me this made sense.
