Anyone happen to know what size pivot ball would be needed for M5 rod ends?

Like these.. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...#quickOverview

Also, I'm not sure if 5mm is what they classify as the opening for threading but the studs on my links for my super I'm building are 5mm thread. If those links are incorrect, could someone point me towards rod ends I could use on an M5 stud? Thanks.

I have an old Savage laying around collecting dust that I'm going to build a super out of.

A bunch of the 1/8 buggy and truggies will use 4 and 5mm turnbuckles, and the ball will accept a 3mm screw.

Cool, I just need to figure out which ones will accept 5mm studs without drilling the rod end since I have M5 studs. I want to use M5 because it's the longest I could find at home depot. Their M4s were only 23mm in length I think. I got the M5 in 50mm length I think it was. I'm going to be drilling and tapping 3/8" aluminum rod for my links so I want to make sure my stud is long enough to have a decent amount of support to avoid ripping the threads out.

You can ALWAYS count on McMaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com to have whatever you want! Granted they are online only - but the price is right and shipping is pretty cheap and very quick.

So I took a look a 1 meter length of 4mm threaded rod is $17. probably another $6-7 for shiopping

Thanks, I only need the rod ends though. I will probably end up going with Revo ends. I already have aluminum rod that I'll drill & tap.

I may return the rod & bolts and use all thread with some tube. Not 100% sure yet. I'll be starting a build thread here shortly.
