Made some bumpers for Dingo

Finally setlled on basic design for some bumpers for my Dingo. I wanted max clearance and good protection for the body - I don't comp, but I hate grinding the lexan into rocks and trees.

Bumpers are made primarily with 0.188" diameter 0.035" wall steel tube (front has smaller diameter stainless for headlight protection). Mounts are made of 12ga flat stock, as is the spare tire mount. I cut a hook to make a recovery point for the rear. Brazed everything up, then painted with VHT Epoxy satin black.

wow very nice work! super close to the body and alot more clearance! my biggest problem with my dingo body was the stock bumpers wouldnt clear anything. this should be a huge difference when you hit the trails! nice job.8)
 
Thanks for the compliments! I'm happy with them, and will probably make some more with different design.

@fullsizecrawler, once I had the design settled, bending, cutting, brazing, and filing to clean up took maybe an hour or 2. Problem is, settling on design, mocking things up, trying different things took far far longer............
