I'm writting this because servo gears for my Hitec 645mg are getting expensive, maybe I shouldn't be wheel'n so hard.
My crawler is a custom straight axled Maxx / TXT with the servo centered on the axle, no servo saver, a drag link and tie rod.

It work great except every now and then I encounter a really bad roll where it lands / bounces of one of the front wheels resulting in a broken servo gear.
Anyone have any suggestions on a tougher servo or well made, no slop servo saver?
I've thought about usin a soft solid wire drag link that would flex some to absorb some of the shock, seem like this problem started when I switched my stock TXT dragl link for a solid turnbuckle style.
Thanks
