i couldn't agree more! what's the point of having a dog, only to chain it outside? i am not home enough to own a dog at this point in my life, so i don't own one!

Maybe this has affected me so strongly because my dog Jack died on July 3rd. He was my constant companion and best friend for 17 years and 3 months
I'm not one to condone the use of the "N" word, but that is obviously all Michael Vick is. The one that ends with "er", NOT the one that ends with "a". Damn, I want to type it out so bad but I know it won't display.
What a filthy disgusting excuse for a person. In the Marines, Vick would be labelled an "oxygen thief", due to the fact that he is not even worthy of breathing the same air we do.
The sad thing is, he makes the Falcons so much money that they will probably bend over backwards to sweep this under the rug ASAP so America will forget about it and keep attending games and buying jerseys.
If this lowest form of human scum has ANY kind of career in the NFL after this it will be a huge traves-sham-mockery of all that is decent in this country.
I'd love to chain Vick to an axle myself. First turn a dog loose on him, then soak him down and shock him, then slam him on the ground a few times, then hang him till he slowly chokes to death.
I hope to see him in person one day, I'm going to spit in his face...

A link to the official breed standards for the APBT. Go to Terrier breed group, and then go to American Pit Bull Terrier. You can see the Staffordshire Bull Terrier as well. Nearly identical, but officially different.

666 - great video, very hard to watch, but good to see. My pit, Alice, is a gentle, loving member of the family. It turns my stomach to think of what people like Vick do to these animals.

All I have to say is that is cruel and inhumane and wrong and Vic is a Piece of S#$%! I haven't liked him since day one of him being in the media...They need to make an example out of him and put his a$$ in jail and fine the sh!! out of him! I have three dogs at home...One being a pure breed, a Weimaraner and two mix breeds which I adopted off the streets. I have grown up with dogs all my life. So when I see sh!! like this I get pissed! Fawk Michael Vic!!!

here is a pic of myself and my girlfriend's mom's pit. she was a rescue dog that was used for fighting, and abused by people. even after all that, she wouldn't hurt a flea. she still trusts people which is a testament to the breed.

Most of his endorsment sponsors are running for the hills EXCEPT Nike they have the new Michael Vick shoe release in August. Maybe Nike will advertise them as the sport shoe to walk your dog in.
I can't believe Nike and the Falcons wouldn't drop him.

not too badly, and that's surprising. they got her when she was pretty young, so i don't think she got too many fights in before the rescue.
EDIT- i forgot, she has 3 different types of cancer and is still strong as a horse!
