The last thread was pretty messed up after a change of ideas, and so we have the new motor thread. I wanted to find a thread with what motors are reliable and such and since there wasn't one, I made one. Also, please make sure that the motors you post are for ROCK CRAWLING and not short course or somthing else. unless by popular demand. The new list. These are in alphabetical order. And also, some motors will have * and **, etc. at the bottom of this post there will be a guide. ALL PRICES ARE IN USD!!!! Note: these motors are for 1/10 Applications. It will stay that way for now until I get some time to do 1/18 Motors.

*These motors require a spceial speel controller due to its low number of turns. The 10T puller can be used with a Tazer 10T esc.

Motor Usage: Higher turn motors are typically used in competition crawlers due to their high amount of torque and control. With these motors, you can probably crawl a 75* slope and still go on to the next round. Lower turn motors are typically used in scale crawlers and pullersare the motor of choice for scale crawlers. Pullers have very low amount of turns, usually lower than a typical race motor. These scale motors are used for a good amount of torque and medium speeds. A 3s LiPo is usually used with lower turn motors to help top speed.

Lower Turn Motors: These motors are typically used for scale crawlers that need torque and speed. These motors range from 7-10T Pullers to 27-45T Motors. Thesse can be used for competition crawlers, but will often be too fast and will lose you more points than it helps.

Higher Turn Motors: These motors are usually used in comp crawler becuase of their higher amount of torque. These motors range from 45T-85T motors. These could be used for scale crawlers, but it will be slow and may not fit the criterion of the competition you may be in.
