That esc will be a terrible choice, as it is sensorless so you will have motor cogging to contend with.
As I said, the x-car 120a is a hobbywing xerun clone, and is able to be programmed using the hobbywing lcd program card, and the firmware is able to be upgraded using hobbywing software. Enough drag brand to flip my car if I let off from high throttle and runs 3s every time I use my wraith. I've had 3 of the 120a, 1 of the 80a and 1 of the 60a in various vehicles and zero of them have failed on me, even running an 890w 550 can motor in my heavy 4x4 short course.

That said, hobbyking do definitely make some shocking quality products I will agree. Do thorough research on everything you intend to buy from them.
