is the higher the turn, the less speed... or other way around?

for example 55t

or 75t

or my truck comes stock with 27t i believe

Its the amount of times the wire is wound around the armature so a 55t is 55x1 and is torque and no speed made for crawling. A 27t is 27 winds more wheel speed some torque but not the greatest! Most crawler guys are now running 35t motors tons of torque and wheelspeed on 2s and 3s lipos hope this helps!

im new to this to how do the run on standard split pacs

I run a integy 75t in my axial with the original pinion gear. I have plenty of torque but I do need more wheel speed occasionally. A 35t is good if you want to do some trail running. I would go with a 45t or maybe even 55t if you are gonna be using your rig strictly for rock crawling or competitions.

ya i got a t-maxx for trail running. i plan on runnin my AX-10 for rock crawling only. and i plan on entering the next competition, just for fun.
