ho are you guys mounting model bodies ? i just ruined a model trying to figure out a way :(

Velcro, ductape, magnets, hotglue, zip ties, gravity , what haven't I seen. I think that's the appeal of this hobby is making it your own.

I used a plastic body from a toy I found. The body mounted to the chassis with 4 screws that screwed into 4 posts under the body. I cut those off so there was room for the servo to clear, then CA glued them to the sides of the body on the inside in position to pop over the stock body posts. I originally had all 4 but one broke off and it's easier to remove with just three. I just bend the body slightly and put the body posts over the stock micro posts, see pictures to explain......

Here's a picture of the body. Red circles are where I cut the posts off, green circles are where I glued them back on.

Here's a picture of it mounted, the red circles are where it's mounted. Kind of hard to see but you'll get the idea.

The end result is a body that's easy to mount or remove and requires no body clips or anything but is still secured very well.....

Just put the "outer posts" on the stock body posts, mock up the body where you want it and add a couple drops of CA glue. Make sure you don't glue the two posts together, that's what happened to my 4th post and I broke it trying to separate the two.
