Dime a dozen, I know, but thought I'd post it now that its close to getting done.

GC3-A chassis
AX-10 axles with Gunnar toobs
CKRC's BLACK Low Profile Ax10 straight axle kit (don't seem to be selling these anymore)
Axial CVD Kit Set For The AX10 #AX30464
Unknown aluminum C hubs
Vanquish Zero Ackerman High Steering Axles (http://www.vanquishproducts.com/vp-high-steering-knuckles-zero-ackermann.html)

Elite 1300 11.1V 35C Lipo Pack (http://cheapbatterypacks.com/?apage=prodpage.asp&invid=EL130035C3S&sid=825873&bc_menuid)

Motor?!?! The 55t brushed on doesn't seem to either work or doesn't work with the Mamba Max Pro (yes I do have it setup for brushed). Have a 'bash' 21.5t brushless motor coming, but am not sure about what brushed motor I want to get; probably a 35t Holmes.

I was going for more of an 'old school' paintjob, but the teal I used didn't turn out quite as dark as I was planning.

Another view of the body.

Isometric shot of the rig. I'm running some lexan trays, cut from 0.060 lexan, to mount my electronics on (receiver and esc) in the rear and battery in the front. I may fab up a large aluminum front plate to hold the battery using the GC3A plate as a guide, we'll see.

Here is my steering system with the zero ackerman Vanquish knuckles. The distance is 153mm. So I used a standard Axial tube I had, got some 30mm m3 screws and cut off the heads. Threaded them into the rod ends, put on some nuts and then screwed them into the rod. Once I got the correct length, I tightened down the nuts so that the rod doesnt' come unscrewed. Could use lock nuts instead, might work better. Did the same thing for the servo link.

The servo arm just barely clears the rod so there isn't any binding. I mounted the steering rod on the front set of holes on the knuckles, but underneath the knuckles. The steering link is mounted on top of the knuckle on the rear set of holes. The tires just barely clear, but they clear.

I've got an aluminum servo arm on order to replace the plastic one since the servo puts out a lot of torque.

Looking good, this chassis will work well for you, I love mine. "thumbsup"
PS: I like the paint. "thumbsup"

Looks good dude, you will want to get a couple more nuts or some proper spacers onto that tie rod. Have an exposed portion of thread creates a significant weak spot on the tie rod.

nice looking rig, I really wanted a gatekeeper chassis before getting mine, so i'll follow all the builds I can for it.
cant wait to see some action shots.
I never heard of the fastlane stuff, some nice parts there. I really like that solid outdrive/final gear.

I knew about them with being the 'bashing' world with HPI Savages, etc. Have had good luck with some of their parts, if it can be a time consuming process if needing to drop-ship parts.

Don't make many crawler parts, but the diff locker is really nice. Seems as nice as the Fedelstein (sp?) ones I got with the used AX10, but no need to deal with set screws... win in my book as I couldn't get the dumb things straight. And I went with the FLM outgear as it was 'lightened' compared to the solid one that is the Robinson, figured less rotating mass would be good.

Yeah, thought about that... but we'll see what happens.

Looking good so far. You might want to look into some lighter shock springs too.
Axial blacks work well on the GC3A.

Build looks great. I see you are waiting on the rovers, they will be a HUGE improvement!. I'm also going to be giving the black springs a try on my GC3A.

Since I just got done painting the body (after having started it at same time I did the AX-10's body) and it looks pretty killer, I think, I though I'd post it...

Well have swamped out the RockLizards for HB Rovers, also tossed on the black springs. And I'm awaiting my Fantom motor which shipped yesterday.

Well it finally "lives" now that I've gotten the Fantom Blitz PRO 45t motor.

Suggestions on spur/pinion combinations for 3S on the 45t? I've got 87/19 for now, seems to have lots of torque but good wheelspeed.
