My new speaker system...what you think?

Hey everyone, what do you think of the subwoofer system I am getting?

2 12in Powerbass woofers
Sony ported box
Hifonics 1200w amp

Should be cool! Getting them sometime next week! :mrgreen:

I got a hifonics 1000w amp, been a fine amp so far. Ive never had those subs though. Anymore I stick to sealed boxes. Amazing sound and takes up a bit less space.

subs are crooked.

fwiw, an easy way to hear a sub clipping is to plug your ears with your fingertips. kinda works/sounds the same as using a ratchet extension or big screwdriver to isolate engine noise.

If you don't intend to play music but just make noise so people look at you, I think you will accomplish that.

Just because it's free dosent mean you can't trade it. If you want girls, which I should hope you do, a Mercury Mystaque is not going to get you one. The only thing it will get you is somebody named Betsy who you think is a fine woman until you pull down the britches and realize you are fixing to go from a tight end to a wide receiver.

Anyway, found a video of subwoofers just like these, says in the video description they arent at their full peak. So they can be louder.

And im not a rap guy, ill mostly be listening to bass music, no rap. lol.
