Well I am finally ready to take my Trail Finder 2 out on the trails. I bought the RTR version but after doing a lot of research
on the forums I decided to go through the whole thing. Every bolt was removed and lock tight was added. Marine grease in
the axles and I waterproofed the stock receiver. I added a CC 10amp BEC and changed out the ESC to a waterproof Axial
AE-5 and the servo to the Tactic TSX45.

As far as the suspension goes I removed one leaf from each corner, reversed the front mounts, added custom
4mm lift blocks, added "Poor Man" shooter shackles, removed springs from the shocks, raised the body 10mm and added
some 5/8 Double Split Shaft Collars to the front axle for added weight on the front.

I replaced the stock tires and foams with PitBull 1.55 Growlers w/Crawler Innovations soft foam up front and medium
in the rear. Painted the stock red body with Krylon Fusion flat black paint and the bed with Duplicolor Bed Liner. Changed
the front grill to a '81 style with round headlights. I bought the basic light kit but changed all of the white LEDs to soft
white ones. I don't like the look that the stock bumper and rock sliders have with a body lift so I will have to come up
with something different to put on at a later date.

I will be taking it out this weekend and hopefully I can get some good video of it to put up.

Looks great. Great matte finish. Where did you get the split collars from? I have a set of the single slot pinch type, but they don't slide all the way on the front knuckle. Any modification needed to the collars themselves?

Looks real good! One question, are your tires hitting the leafs at full steering lock?
Also, would you be able yo take a pic of the front? Thanks
