There is an indoor, on-road, carpet track about 2 hours from my house so me and a few friends have built VTA cars. So far I've raced 3 times and gotten faster each race. Its a ton of fun.

Here are the specs on my car:

Chassis: Team Associated TC4 Club
ESC Motor: Nokak Club Spec 25.5 Brushless Motor/ESC Combo
Servo: EXI D227F Digital Metal Geared Servo
Radio/Receiver: Flysky GT3B
Battery: 5000mah Gens Ace Lipo
Body: Protoform J71
Wheels: HPI Vintage 5 Spoke Black Wheels
Tires: HPI Vintage Tires

And yes I have trimmed the body posts since those pics. "thumbsup"

Thanks. Got any tips. I'm used to crawling and off road racing.

I've tried a couple recommended set ups but they are all too loose for me.

Try a slightly stiffer spring or a softer compound in the front. I suppose I should ask if it pushes or not before you soften up the front rubber.

I want to do this oh so badly! I miss slightly competitive racing. Looks sweet man!

Lol, the "slightly competitive racing" resulted in fist fight on the drivers stand out here....it's why I took up crawling...

Hopefully your area is a bit more mellow

I've got the setup dialed in pretty well. I meant carpet racing tips in general. Xigtc come on down. We are racing at One Lug in Albertville.

The Javelin body is taking a beating. I've already messed the nose up real bad and rip a piece off the side so I went ahead and painted up an HPI 68 Camaro for when it bites the dust.

That baby is a good looker too nice work again. The gas monkey probably would be digging this should send them a pic lol
