right here!
Im new to this waterproofing thing. Did the stock axial esc before with liquid tape and it ran fine until I got this rooster crawler esc. Can anybody give me ideas how to do this. I know liquid tape, balloon, or even that dip. How can i make sure I dont mess this up can anybody show pics fo theirs would be great. Its a Novak rooster crawler esc it looks more complicating then the stock axial ones so thought id ask questions and get ideas first.

"thumbsup"

"water-resistant" is NOT "waterproof"

water-resistant, go ahead and use it in damp/rainy conditions
waterproof, go ahead and submerge the thing

makes sence? maybe someone who has ran theirs underwater and it still works will chime in and say its "waterproof" but I wouldnt trust his word.

you got a good point there I have not submerge my only have some water on it thank's for the correction.

hum

i have used epoxie to water prof my rx and it wan be totaly submerged and still works but is in a nitro boat .havnt tried to do a havnt tried a 2.4 rx or esc yet .maby jh will chime in an let us know how cuse he had water proof esc.

Open the case fill it with di electric grease that you get from Autozone for $4 and then close it back up and you never have to worry about it again. I use it in all of my esc's and servos and I have had my scaler 3' under water before. Also use it in your receivers.

Thanks for all those inputs. Yeah I read it was "water-resistant" but I dont think it waterproof. I tried running it in the rain and its just did fine during and after I ran it. But im thinking of dipping in the mud and all the good stuff so waterproofing is a must.

Would putting silicon sealant on the terminal boards hurt, help, or not change this thing's water resistance?
