I think she was the only one this year, but the last two years we had another female driver as well. RC crawling is definitely a sausage fest. It's cool to see a woman competing.
That terrain is so sick! The spider...not so much. Was that running out in the wild or is that your pet?
I'll take a rattlesnake over a tarantula any day! And I'm not even terrified of spiders, but tarantulas...nightmare fuel! The San Ysidro Trials Area is one of the best RC spots in the Albuquerque area for sure; miles of endless lines. The tarantulas come out when it rains and this one wanted to hang out with us during the raffle. I didn't spot any rattle snakes this year, but they are pretty common as well.
We were crawling this spring and had tarantula hawk dragging his freshly paralyzed tarantula around our course. It was pretty cool to watch.I'll take a rattlesnake over a tarantula any day! And I'm not even terrified of spiders, but tarantulas...nightmare fuel!![]()
Tarantula hawk...had to Google that one. Scary shit out there. Like a murder hornet for spiders! We were crawling this spring and had tarantula hawk dragging his freshly paralyzed tarantula around our course. It was pretty cool to watch.
Yeah nobody messed with her. Figured if it could paralyze something that big and drag it around like that, it would probably hurt like hell to get stung by it.Tarantula hawk...had to Google that one. Scary shit out there. Like a murder hornet for spiders!![]()
