Just saw an advertisement for a new show on History Channel coming in March, new show pitting 4x4's in off road challenges.

As soon as I see more info, I'll post it. It's not posted yet on historychannel.com, yet, or they haven't updated their site.

Is it like that Alaska challenge show.. other than some of the goofy inter-character reality tv drama, I liked it

I think the name of it was Trucks, and when I tried to look it up on the website, there's no future listing for it...I was on my way to the can when I saw the clip, so naturally, I'm watching American Pickers tonight so I can catch the clip again.

Lets consult Facebook.. the people there know everything..

Just ask, they’ll tell you they do.. lol

I used to like History & Food Network until they followed the "reality" TV model and just show that crap pretty much 24/7. It is amusing and sad that they have to launch sister channels to show what the original channel was showing in the first place.

Personally I am not so concerned about their business practice. I have enjoyed three of their shows recently. American Pickers, Hunting Nazi Treasure and The Curse of Oak Island. They all have Historical context and feature modern day exploration to find remnants of the past.

I simply watch shows I like and forget about the ones I don’t.

Pickers pisses me off like Pawn stars does. People are just too happy to get ripped off nowadays.

Interesting. I always find they pay way too much for stuff. I would be thrilled to have someone show up and pay up for stuff of unknown value that I have no inclination to go and sell myself. I don’t get the sense anyone is being ripped off.

There was a Canadian version of that show briefly. The guys on that show were quite obviously trying to take People. It was a shit-show
