Just finished my first kit with the RR10 last week. So far, my impression of it is that its the best 800 bucks I ever spent!
I like it as a crawler more than a racer so I definitely have some work to do.
Would love some advice, So Ill list what parts I have and what I think needs improving on.

RR10 Kit
Castle creations "waterproof" Sidewinder 3 esc
Castle creations 10A BEC
Traxxas 21T Titan 550 motor
Savox SA-1230SG servo
Axial Aluminum 25T servo horn
Tactic TTX300 transmitter/receiver
Gens Ace 11.1v 25C 2200Mah 3s lipo x2
Proline 4 inch light bar

So currently, Heres the limitations Ive found in the few runs Ive done so far:
Flex seems pretty limited

I need to figure the shocks out, search function is currently broken so I cant search here for tuning advice/guides. The fronts are super stiff and the rear are super spongy.

The tires dont seem that great for crawling, so might need another set, and the first run literally all the tires beads popped out of the beadlocks.. so glue?

I have yet to figure out how Im going to mount up my lightbar. Its plugged into the channel 3 on my receiver and pinned in the box so I have to figure it out while its plugged in (oops). I also have yet to figure out if I can turn it off with my controller, Its always on currently and itd be nice to turn it off when I dont need it.

Ive already scratched the hell out of everything on it including the panels, which are still clear as I couldnt wait till I painted it to use it xD Id like to get a metal set of panels.

My kit came with parts for the hi-lo transmission. But it doesnt mention any of it in the kit manual, so I dont know how to do anything with it. And I guess it doesnt come with all the parts? so Im kinda lost on what to do with that.

Lastly, Im looking to upgrade (I love to tinker with stuff so I like to upgrade right out of the gate).
Things Ive seen that might be beneficial:

Team KNK hardware kit (Not sure if this is really needed.. )
Axial HD bevel gear set - I think my kit came with these..
Might be cool to get a winch on it.
As previously stated - new tires.

Im sure theres a lot more I missed but its a good starting point!
So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on your build!
I've just received the last parts for mine and am still in the early stages.
Did you put the right color-coded springs on the front and rear? Look at the ends of the springs - the manual tells you purples front and yellows rear. Piston choice affects things too.
For the tires, the plastic wheels don't hold beads as well as most aftermarket wheels do, but should hold fairly well without glue.
The transmission needs another kit to go 2-speed, it's not cheap. If you plan to go brushless, don't bother with it - but SSD sells an excellent slightly cheaper 2speed kit for about $65, saving about $30 over the Axial 2speed.
SS hardware is nice to have, but not mandatory - but I'd get it.
HD bevel gears ARE included in the kit, but you may want to get the UD (underdrive) set for the rear, and some also OD(overdrive) the front. This reduces torque twist at launch and crawls up obstacles better.
Get new CI foams, the tires aren't that bad and will get better over time - you can reuse the foams when you decide to replace them. There are definitely better tires for crawling - the new 2.2" ProLine Hyrax is getting great reviews.
Enjoy!

Ill check out the ssd hi lo, not sure about the springs ill have to check.. Anyone have a good recommendation on setting the shocks up for crawling? Like which parts to use, how much fluid etc?

Might get some higher powered batteries as well.

Congrats on the bomber dude!

I would look for shorter trailing arms, wraith or twin hammer length work better for crawling. Next I would buy the rear sway bar. Then, you said about shocks. I am very happy with my powerstrokes, make sure you tune the shocks when you get them. Every rig is different. After shocks you should look at tires, that's completely up to you with what you pick out. Maybe look into something a little taller since you mentioned crawling. Read reviews on stuff you're looking at buying, before you buy them. I wouldn't have purchased the LED light bar before any of the upgrades I mentioned, but that's just me. Once again congrats on the bomber post up some pics!

Have any info on the sway bar? I've been thinking I might remove the metal bar that attaches to the rear axle. Ckrc had theirs removed and it felt a lot better without it. Just said my high speed would suffer and I'm not too worried about it right now.
Also I will check out the trailing arms.
I'm sticking with the stock tires for a while. Ill probly get another set of wheels and tires down the road, they told me I needed to glue these... Manual completely leaves that for you to figure out.. So.

Lastly, I'm pulling the shocks apart tonight and rebuilding them. I guess I did it wrong. Any recommendations on the inner parts? It came with a bunch of different plates to effect flow rate etc. So I'm open to suggestions!
