In January I purchased a Traxxas TQ3 radio for my new Axial RTR because the radio that came with the RTR has lousy slow speed control. My son and I have been using the TQ3 since then without issue. On Sunday we take the truck out to play and out of no where the radio starts giving us troubles.
Turn the radio on then turn the truck on and everything is normal. You can press the trigger to go forward and when you let off the trigger the truck will keep moving forwards at various speeds. it will not stop unless you trigger the throtle backwards, or turn the radio off.
I called Traxxas but they are not interested. Said I could pay to have it fixed if I wanted. This radio has not been dropped, wet, or abused in any way. The truck seams to work fine as we have resorted back to using the Axial radio that came with the truck.
I can not afford to spend $50 on a new radio every 2 months. We are new to this hobby and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You in advance!!!
