nimh battery assembly help needed

hey guys.so i ordered myself 7 elite 5000mah loose cells from cheapbatterypacks.com and i would love some help as this is my first ever battery pack build.i have an idea im my head on how it should go together. here is my idea on the wiring.please tell me if i am going in the right derection.

looks fine to me but beforeyou hook it up check it with a volt meter if you can just to be sure.

looks fine but id try to shorten the wires inbetween each cell if possible or keep them as short as possible

yea the are realy not going to be that long.the only ones im kind of worried about are the wires that go from the front to the back.i realy cant do alot about it becouse i have no other places where to put those two extra cells.:?

so this would equal to 8.4 volts if each one is 1.2v? is this called parralel or series?

That is called series. What axles are you running? If it is a 2.2 sized rig, you should be able to get them all on one axle. Back in the day, I had 8cells on the front of my first AX-10

thanks. im running tlt axles.i was originaly going to do that setup when i ordered the cells becouse i though they would all not fit but i got them today and fit them all in the front.they sent me 6 cells by accident and im waiting on the 7th cell to come.here is a pic of my new settup
