I’m just wondering if anyone has ever tried building a nitro converted crawler. Maybe a traxxas 3.3 with the t-maxx transmission would work decent in a crawler. Just worried about the lack torque

RC Tanks and Trucks 24/7 built 2 of them, one of of a 1:8 Bangood crawler, the other out of a CEN racing f450

I'll post the completed videos:

You won't get much crawlability from it, as the there's not a lot of low speed torque and control, but it makes a really cool ride. Maybe if you gear it down a lot it could crawl well, but then you'd be sacrificing a lot of speed.

But don't throw the idea away because I said some disadvantages, a nitro crawler is definitely still awesome and would make a nice unique rc.

I saw those just wondering about a 3.3 or other traditional nitro engine but apparently someone has done that!
